Spiritual Life Coaching is about helping people move forward to intentionally follow Jesus.  You will be encouraged and challenged throughout, which means this process can be a time of stress, frustration, and uncertainty; but it can also be a time of excitement, inspiration, and anticipation. In other words, it is often stretching, but very rewarding.

You will not be told what to do.  Coaching is not counseling or mentoring, it involves facilitating a process where one can learn how to listen better to the Lord, consider what He is saying, and then intentionally live out what He leads you to do.

Our job is not to grow ourselves!  Jesus is the One who grows us. But we have a part to play.  We need to respond and act on what the Lord is calling us to do.  According to Matthew 7:24-27, to hear and not act is to be set up for disaster.

In a broken fallen world storms will come.  Even worse, according to James 1:22-25 to hear without doing is to deceive oneself!  Lives are powerfully transformed when we learn how to listen and respond to the Lord, ours as well as others around us!

In six coaching sessions spread out over the course of three to six months most people are able to learn a process that facilitates better listening, so they can learn more and follow Jesus to the abundance of life He so dearly paid to make available!
